While monitoring the schedules if there is a potential slippage it is highlighted in a timely manner so that proper mitigation steps can be taken to bring back the critical milestones on track, slippages are mitigated by increasing the resources, working on shifts or by modifying the schedule so that more activities are done in parallel and thus shortening the critical path duration and bringing the schedule on target. Have verified the progress reported by the contractors. have produced different reports while monitoring the projects in Primavera 6, which include Look ahead schedules, schedule variance reports, critical path analysis, progress S-curve and manpower histograms. Have produced man-hours histograms in Primavera and have ensured that there are no peaks and troughs in the resource loading, it has been ensured that schedules are leveled to such an extent that the available resources are utilized to the best manner. Have provided value added guidelines to different contractors on how to produce value added schedules and reports. While monitoring the schedules have provided timely information to the project team about the potential delays in the project. Have done critical path analysis and have worked on mitigating the delays in the critical milestones. Thus making sure that slippage of critical milestones is stopped. Have worked on Schedule driven projects and have ensured with the help of Project team that the critical milestone dates are not slipped. For accelerated or schedule driven projects have done a series of meetings with stake holders and have accelerated the schedules by reducing the duration of critical activities, by bringing in extra resources and performing critical activities in parallel. Have actively coordinated with EP houses and Construction Planners, and have provided valuable and positive guidelines for producing effective schedules, critical paths and S-curves. I have analyzed the schedules produced by Contractors and have mitigated the potential delays. Have produced manpower histograms and Progress S-curves.
